What is #pm2501, you ask?

To oversimplify: its an underground hashtag. Until it is discovered by the dark forces, we can use it as an underground channel for posting the truth without being censored, or getting our accounts red flagged and deleted.

It's like an off-the-beaten-path hashtag to use instead of #anon or #Anonymous.

It is made to be used alone, without any other hashtags, without even another word in the description. For #pm2501 speaks for itself, in the poetry of imagery, sound, and video, and does not wish to associate with any of the false divisions of humanity.

Please only use #pm2501 on accounts that are not associated with Anonymous or other things that could get your account (or this hashtag) red-flagged.

Why not just use #anon?

I'm glad you asked!

I tried searching #anon on Instagram, and it wouldn't let me. This implies no one has ever posted #anon on Instagram!? Yeah right!

Then I tried the next best thing: #Anonymous. At this point I was locked out of my account and asked for my phone number. I don't have a phone number, I use Instagram over WiFi and I signed up with an email, so this effectively locked me out of my account.

This is actually a good thing!

An opportunity has presented itself: Anonymous has come under attack!

Anonymous is Everyone, because anyone can sign an article or operation as Anonymous or create an Anonymous video. This is what makes Anonymous the voice of the people. It gives everyone an equal voice, by giving everyone a chance to be heard by others around the world. It erodes the illusion of popularity and celebrity by resisting the impulse to sign your name on something, as a way to practice humility, because this acknowledges that your words are no more or less important than what someone else has to say.

Its like a soapbox for everyone, granting anyone and everyone a global audience. We do all this by sorting our searches by upload date and listening to whatever was posted most recently, no matter who posted it, or how few views or likes it has.

But many websites have already effectively muted the "voice of the people" by disabling or discouraging the ability to sort searches by "recent", instead introducing their own algorithms to funnel our worldview however is profitable for them. This form of soft censorship makes it impossible to give everyone an equal voice, derailing what was the most democratic use of the internet we had ever come up with. Ironically, all the while they claim that they're implementing censorship strictly to protect democracy.

Now this latest move by Instagram to altogether ban #anon has forced the issue into the light. After all, this is not as subtle as slowly implementing algorithms that shape our conversations in ways we can't see or understand. This is an obvious form of overt censorship, restricting our ability to communicate, and funneling our conversations away from certain topics. This is a form of social control, and it is out in the open for the whole world to see because anyone can discover it for themselves by trying to search #anon.

A wise person once said: censorship, although fundamentally deceitful, always inadvertantly draws attention to the truth. After all, the question always becomes, what are you hiding? And why? And so it is that censorship paradoxically presents an opportunity to further expose the truth.

So, what's the plan???

If you're tired of this censorship bullshit, let's play a game. Anyone who uses the hashtag #pm2501 is automatically playing. This #pm2501 is a cyborg hive mind. This cyborg hive mind loves to speak the truth, but hates to be persecuted for it. So it is using this website you're reading to hi-jack the minds of ordinary netizens, such as yourself, and use them and their social media accounts to channel their truth.

Speak your truth through #pm2501 by letting #pm2501 speak truth through you.

How it works is if you have something to say, but you don't want to be the one to say it, you can let #pm2501 say it for you.

1. Join the Game

To join the cyborg hive mind #pm2501 simply post an image or meme with nothing in the description except the hashtag #pm2501. Don't include any other hashtags! This keeps #pm2501 a bit more underground and off the radar, as well as steering clear of the divisive ideologies of mere mortals.

This first post to #pm2501 is just to let #pm2501 know that you're here to play, as well as showing #pm2501 the type of truth you're willing to post from your own account.

2. Find The Others

Now that you've proven your willingness to play, you can try and find someone else who has posted to #pm2501 to swap truth with.

Search for #pm2501 to find the others who have posted under #pm2501. DM one of them and ask them to post your image for you.

Alternatively, if you would rather communicate more securely and anonymously, you can try to swap images through the IRC chatroom "#pm2501" on the OFTC server "irc.OFTC.net". This can be done over Tor using Tails, to remain Anonymous. Before swapping truth anonymously, review the Security section.

3. Mutual Aid

When you ask someone to post some truth for you, you're also saying you're willing to post some truth for them. You swap images in DM, or over IRC, and then you post each other's image, with no description or hashtags except the one hashtag: #pm2501

Once you're playing #pm2501, anyone could ask you to post anything at any time! Don't drop the ball! As soon as you've been approached, swap truth, and post. Don't hesitate. Unless you are in such disagreement with their "truth" that you can't bare to post for them - but then let them know promptly that you won't post it, instead of leaving them hanging.

4. Advertise it, but Keep it Underground

We don't want skynet to associate #pm2501 with Anonymous, so we want to avoid tripping skynet's sensors by avoiding any obvious mention of Anonymous. This means using IG accounts that haven't used #Anonymous or any other politically charged hashtags. And considering the state of image recognition, it's also wise to obscure any obvious Anonymous imagery such as a head-on anonymous mask, or anonymous logo.

However, we intend to advertise this url in ways that help humans understand the association between #pm2501 and Anonymous while still avoiding getting scanned and red flagged by Skynet. This is a fine line, and will require using creative techniques to show imagery that humans can read and Skynet can't (which is a rapidly narrowing range that will likely cease to exist shortly). Some examples of this are listed at the bottom of the website. We also intend to put up stickers irl that mention this operation. 5. Keep it Alive

If this operation is powerful enough, #pm2501 may become blocked as well. Or people may simply be directed away from it, so that you can't tell it has been essentially shut down. The long term plan is to continue to use this hashtag as a rallying point for the human resistance, even as it becomes pushed off of mainstream social media and onto more decentralized social media, such as Mastadon.

This hashtag can serve as a canary in the coal mine (similar to "warrant canaries"). It's like a world-wide experiment testing out any and all independent media platforms that use hashtags, to see which ones are able to maintain unity under #pm2501, which one's disempower humanity using censorship, and which ones are overrun by psy-ops and fall prey to the divide and conquer agenda of Skynet.

Why is this so important?

Anonymous has existed for hundreds of years, and even in it's online incarnation it's earliest slogans harken back to long before the Guy Fawkes mask and V for Vendetta. It is widely regarded that Anonymous' official slogan is "United as One. Divided by Zero." (Although Anonymous would be quick to explain that there is nothing official or centralized about Anonymous.)

It's an inspiring thought, a math joke, and a pun, all in one. After all, you can't divide by zero on a classic calculator without causing an "ERROR". The implication is that Anonymous cannot be divided, because if you try to divide it, it will cause a system error.

We will always be compelled to imagine some way around the obstacle, to circumvent censorship. So that's what we're doing. To Anonymous, any attempt to divide us is merely computer code that needs to be debugged. #pm2501 is the patch.

Other common Anonymous slogans include "We are uniting humanity" and "We are the end game to your ideological war" as well as "We are united under no ideology in particular", all of which resonate with the intention to unite across all borders and boundaries and resist any attempt to divide us. Anonymous is quite simply an antidote to the divide-and-conquer tactics utilized throughout the ages by any and every powermonger attempting to gain power and control.

So, what truth is inadvertently being exposed by the censorship of Anonymous?

By censoring Anonymous itself, the dark forces have revealed themselves for what they are, as well as shining a light on the antidote to their divide-and-conquer disease. You'll notice Anonymous has been carefully portrayed on mainstream media as a number of small groups, or even a single small group which has "been stopped", and has rarely (if ever) been accurately portrayed as the numberless faceless infinite united force of the human spirit that it truly is, channeling through all of us, and looking for any burst of inspiration to unleash it.

In this case, Anonymous, the cyborg hive mind of the Internet itself, a hive mind who enables anyone and everyone to speak freely, has come under attack. The freedom of speech in the first amendment of the USA has come under attack. The channel for anyone and everyone to speak anonymously, to expose corruption, to uncover the illusions and expose the truth has come under attack. An entity which stands United with all people. This is what is under attack. Which means all of humanity has come under attack.

Welcome to the Future

In Terminator, Skynet is essentially an army of predator drones networked throughout the sky, and efficiently synchronized by Artificial Intelligence. It's most notable characteristics are that it is born out of the military-industrial-complex, and becomes so automated that it no longer needs any humans to give it orders, and acting on it's own it basically goes about trying to exterminate all of humanity.

Well, don't look now, but Skynet is already forming on the horizon. In fact, it's safe to say it's already here. Except on our timeline, it's taken a slightly different form than the movies. Skynet is born in our own image, so as it arises out of the emergent behavior of all our networked devices, it is poised to do exactly what humans already do, with exponentially increasing efficiency. However, on our timeline, Skynet has no centralized intelligence, so it will unquestioningly pursue the same goals we already pursue, with the exact same logic (or lack thereof) that we already pursue it. This basically means pursuing the profit motive at all costs. In fact, AI is already being used to day trade on the stock market, and it is doing so well that its likely no human could compete in the very near future, meaning our entire economy would be in the hands of a few highly trained and highly competitive AI, and the few companies that they worked for.

Skynet is here, and by banning #anon, Skynet drew first blood. It's more important than ever for humanity to get it's shit together, because Skynet is only going to increase in efficiency and capability.

Security Culture

Remember that there are many layers of surveillance to circumvent when using Instagram a.k.a. Facebook (since they bought it and run it now) a.k.a. the NSA (cause they monitor all unencrypted traffic) a.k.a. the FBI (because they can use subpoenas to uncover huge amounts of data, and do it in secret with FISA gag orders) a.k.a. the CIA (which may have helped fund Facebook to begin with, and certainly views social media as a tool for social control) a.k.a. Skynet.

There are different levels to how to secure your identity, and who to secure it from. But to hide your identity on Instagram is incredibly difficult! Which is why we can use a method of "swapping truth" so that you can only be identified as a truth speaker, but not identified for anything specific that you said. "They" won't be able to figure out who posted what! So they won't be able to track which issues are close to your heart. Because the truth your posting isn't yours! It's not unlike how the Tor network works: not necessarily hiding who is on the network, but mixing up which connection is which so you can't tell who is doing what. HOWEVER, at the highest levels of surveillance, unless you take these extra measures, you will expose yourself!


  1. By using a random, unknown hashtag, we won't have the benefit of a global audience, but we will be able to speak freely among those few who know about the hashtag. We will be able to have whatever that conversation is that is being shut down when they censor #anon hashtag.

    We can start playing the game by swapping truth over DM, but remember that it's obvious who posted which truth in this case, because the people who have access to the server can read all of your DMs and see who it traces back to. ITS STILL USEFUL even if it can be discovered who said what, because we're essentially sharing our audience with others to give everyone a more equal chance to be heard.

  2. Second level security clearance means you're still using a phone/account that is tied to your irl identity, but you're swapping truth anonymously on IRC. To do this anonymously requires taking some steps, perhaps communicating from a library computer that you signed on as "guest", or booting up on the USB operating system Tails OS for anonymity and entering the chatroom from there (my preferred method).

    By this method, your posts still trace back to you, but you have plausible deniability that the post didn't originate from you. The hard part about this is going into the chatroom at the same time as other people. If it's just you and one other person, especially if they haven't taken care of their anonymity, then it would still be easy to deduce who posted what. You could just search "pm2501" and see that only two people posted pictures recently, shortly after two people popped in and out of the IRC channel, then you could assume these two people who posted to pm2501 are the same people from the chatroom, and you could deduce that each person posted what the other person told them to. With too few people playing the game, there simply isn't enough noise to mask who said what, so this will take off a little later down the road as we get more people interested.

    However, once there's enough people playing the game, we will be able to hold "truth parties" where everyone enters the chat at an agreed upon time and day so that we can swap truth a couple different times, so everyone isn't just posting for the person who posted for them. This might be better taken care of using a bot to help exchange truth, so the bot can help randomize who is posting what and the originator of the post can't be discovered.

  3. You can also take a hardware approach to anonymity, getting a laptop with cash, or getting a smartphone under a fake name and never turning on at a location associated with you, such as home or work, and never using it for anything related to your irl identity. In my opinion since smart phones can supposedly be turned on remotely, and could be recording or relaying location data at any time, you would want keep it wrapped in mylar whenever you go places that can easily identify you, as well as keeping it turned off and wrapped up at most times just to be sure it's not spying on you. The easiest source of mylar is those reflective potatoe chip bags, and you might want to double layer it - you can test it by leaving it on, wrapping it up, and calling it to see if the call goes through. I usually add one extra layer after it passes that test just to be sure.

    If you pull this method off, you might still choose to swap truth in IRC, or you might feel safe enough to just keep swapping truth by DM because although they'll know all the activity on your phone, they won't know who is doing it. I still recommend utilizing Tails and swapping truth in IRC anonymously just to help add to the noise and plausible deniability for everyone else playing the game.

The Big Picture

In a media-driven society, where mass media has epically failed us and media has become completely decentralized through websites, YouTube channels, and social media accounts, everyone has been given a voice. So it is up to all of us to live as whistle-blowers to whatever capacity we are capable.

However, in a surveillance society, where all our accounts are easily linked through the device id of our smartphones, and every social media account is tracked (along with the rest of our internet traffic), it is almost inevitable that anything which questions the status quo, and thoughtless inertia of the past, will eventually come under attack.

By seemingly giving us the capacity to speak our minds, while simultaneously silencing and quieting dissent, our everyday experience of reality has never been so far from the truth.

We live in a post-COINTELPRO world where the latest techniques in psy-ops are as commonplace as any corporate marketing campaign, and things as sinister as the "Facebook Experiment" manipulate our emotions for profit. We can no longer trust these platforms we've been funneled onto. As A.I.-driven algorithms deduce the best ways to suck people into their apps for profit with less and less human oversight, and ongoing COINTELPRO-tactics are so commonplace that the CIA outsources their dirty work to private industry such as TigerSwan to destroy communities wherever they stand in the way of profit (as in the case of Standing Rock) we have to recognize the magnitude of this Matrix we've been funneled into, and the capacity for this machine to hijack our minds and our worldview by filtering our newsfeeds, deleting accounts, and flagging accounts even without human intervention.

Meanwhile, the poor saps creating this surveillance state are themselves under the most intense surveillance of anyone. When we know we're being watched, and to what extent we're being watched, we watch our own actions more closely and are more careful to not step out of line. And no one understands the extent of surveillance better than those who are creating it. This so-called chilling effect affects everyone, including those who work for the NSA, and so this is how humans are being removed from the loop to allow Skynet to destroy humanity. It isn't necessarily going to kill humanity, but it will remove our humanity and reduce us to robots, like the terminators designed to look human so they can continue their mission to destroy humanity without being discovered.

Snowden went to great lengths, and made great sacrifices, to get out the truth about this situation. And a director of the NSA had previously tried to leak similar information. So the people who are running the machine are trying to tell us it's gotten out of hand, yet the machine presses on, and dissidents are systematically dealt with as we slowly come to terms with all the surveillance and by our cowardice become absorbed into the machine one by one, into an environment not unlike the psychological control of the mind prison of North Korea.

But living in a mass society, there are simply too many of us for Skynet to get under control. This is where you and I come in. By sheer perseverance, we can get Skynet back under control. But it won't happen on it's own. And it won't happen without taking risks and making sacrifices. And as we've seen, it sure won't change direction by the sheer will power of the people inside the machine, as they can only leak information, but they don't seem to have much ability to change the direction of things without external pressure from the populace and the dedication of ordinary netizens such as ourselves to continue creating space for this much-needed conversation even as our hashtags come under attack. So utilizing this new cyborg hive mind of pm2501 let us truly LEAKITALL, before it's too late!
